University of Windsor Parking Management Study

TraffMobility Engineering Inc. and Transforward Consulting Group Inc. were commissioned by the University of Windsor to develop a forward-thinking parking strategy to address the needs of the university community and its visitors.

In collaboration with the university's project team, the study was conducted based on evidence (e.g., parking occupancy data, revenue, and costs) and aimed to establish a clear understanding and definition of the problems before recommending practical alternative solutions that best serve the university community.

The parking strategy aims to address existing parking deficiencies and challenges while proactively and sustainably managing future parking demands. The study also included a review of UWindsor's current approach to parking management, permit allocation, enforcement strategies, identification of gaps, and the provision of recommendations.
