TraffMobility recently completed a comprehensive mobility study for the Namur–Jean-Talon–Royalmount–Côte-Saint-Luc sector in Montreal on behalf of ARTM.
The study centered on developing a highly accurate mesoscopic traffic simulation model in Aimsun, capturing traffic flow across 48 intersections and 26 key travel corridors. Our model integrated GTFS data for realistic transit scheduling and routing, combined with EMME-based travel demand data and detailed turning movement counts, offering a robust representation of real-world conditions.
The Aimsun model provided actionable insights for future development and infrastructure planning. The project was successfully delivered on time and within budget, showcasing TraffMobility’s advanced modeling expertise in complex urban environments.
